El Premio BAFTA a la mejor película de animación es un galardón muy especial que entrega cada año la Academia Británica de las Artes Cinematográficas y de la Televisión. Este premio reconoce a la mejor película hecha con animación, ¡esas que nos hacen soñar y reír con sus personajes y mundos increíbles!

Historia del Premio: 1955–1982
Desde 1955 hasta 1982, esta categoría de los premios BAFTA incluía tanto películas animadas largas como cortometrajes. Después de 1982, la categoría se detuvo por un tiempo y se creó un premio específico solo para cortometrajes animados.
