Anexo:BAFTA al mejor guion original para niños
El BAFTA al mejor guion original (BAFTA Award for Best Original Screenplay) es un premio entregado anualmente por la Academia Británica de las Artes Cinematográficas y de la Televisión. Se empezó a entregar en 1984 después de dividir la categoría de mejor guion en mejor guion original y mejor guion adaptado.
Woody Allen ha sido el guionista más galardonado, recibiendo el premio en cuatro ocasiones, seguido de Charlie Kaufman, Thomas McCarthy, Martin McDonagh y Quentin Tarantino, quienes lo han recibido en dos ocasiones. Igualmente Allen ha sido el más nominado en la categoría, diez ocasiones, seguido de los hermanos Coen (Ethan y Joel), quienes han sido nominados en seis ocasiones sin recibir el premio.
