Liam Cunningham (nacido el 2 de junio de 1961 en Dublín, República de Irlanda) es un actor irlandés muy conocido en el cine y la televisión.
Es famoso por su papel como Davos Seaworth en la popular serie de televisión Game of Thrones.

Biografía de Liam Cunningham
Liam Cunningham es hijo de Kathleen Cunningham. Antes de dedicarse a la actuación, trabajó como electricista en la década de 1980. Un día, vio un anuncio de una escuela de actuación y decidió probar suerte en ese mundo.
Liam está casado con Colette Cunningham. Juntos tienen tres hijos: Ellen, Liam Cunningham Jr. y Sean Cunningham.
Carrera actoral de Liam Cunningham
Liam Cunningham ha participado en muchas películas y obras de teatro. Ha trabajado tanto en su país, Irlanda, como en Gran Bretaña y Estados Unidos.
Inicios en el cine
Después de actuar en algunos cortometrajes, Liam consiguió su primer papel en una película. Fue en Into the West (conocida en español como «Escapada al Sur»), donde interpretó a un oficial de policía.
En 1995, se unió al elenco de la película A Little Princess. Allí interpretó al capitán Crewe y al príncipe Rama, el padre de la pequeña Sara Crewe (Liesel Matthews). También apareció en First Knight como Sir Agravaine, uno de los caballeros de la Mesa Redonda.
En 1999, interpretó al militar británico Alec Cunningham-Reid en la película Too Rich: The Secret Life of Doris Duke. También actuó en RKO 281, donde dio vida al cinematógrafo americano Gregg Toland. En esta película, compartió escenas con actores como Liev Schreiber y James Cromwell.
Papeles destacados en cine y televisión
En 2010, Liam apareció en la película Centurión. En ella, interpretó a Ubriculius "Brick", un soldado veterano.
En 2011, dio vida al presidente Richard Tate en la serie Outcasts. Ese mismo año, fue un actor invitado en la serie Strike Back: Project Dawn, donde interpretó a Daniel Connolly. También actuó como el escritor irlandés Francis Sheehy-Skeffington en The Guard.
En 2012, apareció en la quinta temporada de la serie Merlin como Ruadan. También interpretó al líder irlandés James "Jim" Larkin en la serie Titanic: Blood and Steel. Además, dio vida a Alec Wade, un agente en la película Safe House, y tuvo un papel como doctor en la película War Horse.
Ese mismo año, se unió al elenco de la exitosa serie de HBO, Juego de Tronos. En esta serie, interpreta al lord Davos Seaworth, quien es la mano derecha de Stannis Baratheon (Stephen Dillane).
En 2013, apareció como invitado en la popular serie Doctor Who, donde interpretó al capitán Zhukov. Ese mismo año, participó en el video musical "High Hopes" de la banda irlandesa Kodaline.
