Enciclopedia para niños

Sound of… es una encuesta anual muy interesante que organiza la compañía británica BBC. Su objetivo es descubrir a los artistas musicales nuevos más prometedores. Críticos de música y personas importantes de la industria musical participan en esta votación.

La primera vez que se realizó esta encuesta fue en el año 2003, a través de la página web de BBC News. Cada mes de diciembre, se anuncia una lista larga con los artistas nominados. Luego, en enero del año siguiente, se revela quién es el ganador y quiénes son los finalistas. Es una forma emocionante de conocer a las futuras estrellas de la música.
