Descripción: These pictures were taken in White Sands National Park, in New Mexico, last November. White Sands is one of the strangest places to be driving and hiking in because of the white sand, which is 98% Gypsum. We knew it was November, which is a good month to visit, but your sensory gives you the feeling you are walking around in snow. We chose November as the time to visit because of the temperatures were tolerable. The mountain range in the background are the San Andreas.
