Archivo: Topkapi Palace Seen From Harem
Descripción: The Topkapı Palace, Seraglio Point (Sarayburnu), and the Golden Horn at sunrise, photographed from across the Bosphorus at the Harem ferry terminal in Turkey. The many chimneys on the left side of the photo belong to the Palace Kitchens. At the right end of the complex there's the Mecidiye Kösku, The Grand Kiosk, a late Ottoman era pleasure pavillion from the 19th century, from where there's an unobstructed view towards the Bosphorus Bridge. Down by the water near Gülhane Park the original city wall remains, with the railway lines to the Sirkeci Railway Station on the inside and a major road and a promenade on the outside.
