Descripción: The biodegradable monumental land art painting on a grassy meadow at the foot of the Poya Bridge in Fribourg, Switzerland, depicts a boy sitting on the ground and building a bridge with his building blocks. The artist is alluding to Fribourg as a city of bridges, with its many bridges over the Saane, but also to its function as a bridge across the Röstigraben, mediating between German-speaking and French-speaking Switzerland. The internationally renowned artist Saype uses biodegradable pigments made from charcoal, chalk, casein and water for his grass paintings. Although his works disappear over the course of a few weeks, they remain anchored in people's minds.
