Descripción: The Government Palace of Peru, located in Lima, serves as the official residence and workplace of the Peruvian president. Constructed in 1938 on the site of Francisco Pizarro’s 1535 adobe residence, this neoclassical building overlooks the Plaza Mayor in the city’s historic center. Designed by architect Ricardo de Jaxa Malachowski, it features ornate interiors, including the Golden Hall and Sevillian Patio, blending European influences with local heritage. Also known as the "House of Pizarro," it symbolizes Peru’s political history and hosts official ceremonies, such as the daily changing of the guard, drawing visitors to its prominent location along the Rímac River.
