Descripción: Southern facade of the Yunis Caravansary (khan) — in the settlement of Khan Yunis. Constructed by the emir Yunus al-Nûrûzi in 1387-1388, during the Burji Dynasty of the Islamic Mamluk Sultanate of Egypt (1250 CE to 1517). 1930s image, when in the southwestern British Mandate of Palestine. In the present day Khan Yunis is located in the southern Gaza Strip.
