Descripción: The Isaac Newton and Bernardine Hagan House, a national landmark near Ohiopyle, Pa (1956). Most often called Kentuck Knob, this was one of Frank Lloyd Wright's finest executions of the Usonian style and one of his last houses. Isaac Hagan was an associate of Edgar J. Kaufmann (owner of nearby Fallingwater). Wright was 86, busy working on Beth Sholom Synagogue near Philadelphia and Guggenheim, and never actually set foot on the property during construction. The Hagans lived in the house for about 30 years. They sold the property in 1986 to Peter Palumbo, Baron Palumbo for use as a vacation home. Lord Palumbo added a large sculpture garden to the property, containing works by famed artists such as Andy Goldsworthy and Harry Bertoia.
