Descripción: The Greek theater is the best known remnants of the ancient city. It was built around the year 200 BC. It is the only Hellenistic theater in all Macedonia. During the Hellenistic period comedies, tragedies and dramas were performed. The Romans added gladiator and animal fights. In the three upper rows of seats there are inscriptions of names of persons that probably served as seat reservations during performances. In total, twelve rows of seats in the cavea remain.
