Descripción: During a few days in October 1943, the Port of Gothenburg, Sweden was the scene of a unique prisoner exchange where German and allied prisoners of war were exchanged. The Swedish Red Cross took care of the complex arrangements under the direction of Count Folke Bernadotte. Count Folke Bernadotte here in conversation with Australian POWs who arrived by German train to the Port of Gothenburg.
