Descripción: Sections of ellipsoid with semi-axes a=8, b=6, c=4.8√2≈6.8 by planes parallel to Oz axis and inclined at an angle of 45 degrees to Ox axis. We see, that all of them are circles of radius r. Absolute value of k is the distance from the plane to the point (0,0,0). A center of each circle is marked with a blue point. These centers lie on a line (blue), which, containing (0,0,0) point and lying on xy plane, is inclined to the direction of the secant plane movement.
