Archivo: Earthenware dish with sancai glaze and rosette medallion, Tang Dynasty
Descripción: A Chinese sancai glazed earthenware dish from the Tang Dynasty (618–907), dated late 7th century to early half of the 8th century. It has an impressed decoration under the glaze, while its three-legged shape and design is seen in similar works of silver. It has a rosette medallion with six palmette forms which perhaps were derived from motifs of Central Asian metalwork and ceramics.
