Descripción: Detail of the: Plano de Madrid and surrounding villages at the beginning of the twentieth century, by Facundo Cañada López, Commander of the Guardia Civil. Date 1900 or 1901. In this small detail see the Manzanares River and the Bridge of Segovia, and the large estate that was the "Quinta de Goya" or "Quinta del Sordo."
At that time still retained the house of Goya, but devoid of the famous Black Paintings.
