Descripción: Monument to Jean-Baptiste Boussingault by Jules Dalou (1895), garden of CNAM, la Plaine Saint-Denis, formerly in the courtyard of the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers in Paris (National Conservatory of Arts and Crafts). Pink marble and bronze daubed with green paint. Height : about 4,50 meters. This monument symbolyzes Science serving Agriculture. The bronze cartouche on which was inscribed the name of the scientist, on the top of the column, is missing.
