Descripción: The 3 year old Brahman cow, named Kolenki, with her bull calf, named Portugesie, born 3 days before on Sunday 13 December 2009 on the farm Rocky Ridge in the district Potchefstroom, North West Province, South Africa. She hid him in the bush for two days, before she came to introduce him. This is her first calf, she will hopefully have another 10 calves, one each year, they are pregnant for 9 months. He's not eating the grass, he drinks milk, he's just mimicking his mother. You might make out the mark DCS burnt on her buttock, as required by law. The D is turned right and the C is turned left. Every farmer has his own burn mark, registered with the Department of Agriculture. In her ear is a plastic ear tag, the number is not visible, it's on the inside. She weighs 500 kg.
