Descripción: Former runway of Sariñena airfield, looking north a few km south of Sariñena, just 1km north of Albalatillo for use by the republican air force. After the region was conquered by franquist forces in spring 1938 it was used by Germany's Legion Condor, e.g. in spring 1938 by the He-51 squadrons of Jagdgruppe and the Aviación Legionaria Italiana. Today 600 m runway is used today by local farmers, who have erected some barns and sheds on the concrete.
