Descripción: Ember Red. 1964 was the 1st Chevelle; introduced to compete with Ford Fairlane. Available in Hardtop, Convertible, Sedan and Wagon. The 2 door hardtops, like all 2 door Chevys, were known as the Sports Coupe and the 4 door hardtops, the Sports Sedans. The SS performance package (In 1964 and 65 it was called the Malibu SS) was only available in 2 door Hardtop or Convertible, it got disc brakes, bucket seats, console, extra gauges and 283 cu in V8 (327 V8 available in mid 1964).
