Descripción: New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina: As the power and cable system for the St. Charles line was destroyed in the storm while the cars in the Carollton barn survived, and the Canal Street infastructrure survived but the cars at the Canal barn in Mid City were flooded, a 1920s Pearly Thomas streetcar from the St. Charles Line runs on Canal Street again for the first time in over 40 years.
