Descripción: Sigmund Freud in Hampstead The statue of Freud sculpted by Oscar Nemon used to be in an alcove behind Swiss Cottage Library, where it was virtually hidden away from public view. In 1998 the Freud Museum arranged for it to be moved to a more prominent site and it now faces Fitzjohn's Avenue directly in front of the Tavistock Clinic, a world famous psychoanalytic institute that perpetuates his work in many ways.
