Descripción: Royal Air Force- Italy, the Balkans and South-east Europe, 1944-1945. Two RAF mechanics fit a long-range fuel tank under the wing of a North American Mustang Mark III of No. 213 Squadron RAF at Biferno, Italy, for a mission in support of partisan forces in Yugoslavia. The mechanics are, Leading Aircraftman L Doyle of Airdrie, Scotland (left), and Corporal R Wyer of Grangetown, Cardiff.
