Description: The Arrott Building, located at the intersection of Fourth Avenue and Wood Street in the heart of the financial district of downtown Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States. This skyscraper — Pittsburgh's oldest — and several surrounding financial buildings are part of the Fourth Avenue Historic District, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Arrott Building was built in 1902 and designed by architect Frederick J. Osterling. It is on the List of Pittsburgh Landmarks recognized by the Pittsburgh History and Landmarks Foundation.
