Descripción: The Peter Van Dyke House is a home in Lapeer, Michigan built in 1873. It was constructed for Peter Van Dyke, bought by Samuel J. Tomlinson, editor of the Lapeer Clarion, in 1880. Frances and Mary Ellen Hunter converted it into a private hospital in 1924, which operated until 1953. It was then converted into apartments. The building is in the Second Empire structure and has a a four-story tower. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.
