Descripción: Narsil, espada con la que Isildur arrebató el anillo único de la mano de Sauron, junto con su dedo. Narsil / Andúril - final version with different engraving Andúril, the Blade of Aragorn, heir of Isildur, forged out of the shards of Narsil (which was Elendils sword). I tried to "reconstruct" how it may have looked like in Tolkiens 'Lord of the ring. Artist: Gerald Stiehler website, 2005-01-27 Made with the path tool in "photo impact 8", ... using bumpmaps of elvish runes, as provided by Dan Smith website 'tengwar annatar.ttf' & 'cirth erebor.ttf' and using the wonderfull Tengwar Writing Program TengScribe. All the inscriptions are hypothetical, as Tolkien didn't describe exactly, what he had in mind when talking about "engraved runes" on the sword. But the text matches different interpretations I found on the net, that seem appropriate to me. Feedback would be appreciated (using my website).
