Descripción: A panoramic view towards Mont Blanc after the first snow of the 2011/2012 winter. Taken from Rifugio Monte Bianco (Mont Blanc Refuge), west of Courmayeur. The summits of Mt Rouge de Peuterey (2941 m) on the left, and Mt Noir de Peuterey (3014 m) on the right frame the famous south ridge of the Aiguille Noir de Peuterey. The summit of Mont Blanc itself is not visible from this perspective, and is a further 2.8 km away, well behind the Aiguille Noir de Peuterey (3772 m), and then the Aiguille Blanche de Peuterey (4112 m), which is also not visible. The lower tongue of the Glacier de la Brenva is visible to the right of the picture
