Sources indicate Oberleutnant or Hauptmann(R). Photo seems to indicate one star on either shoulder which indicates Oberleutnant at that time.

Permiso: Bagn Bygdesamling are the primary source for the images from World War II between the Valdres group and Adlhoch group, and are the first to make them public available according to Norwegian law. Some of the photos may have been published previously. The photos are assumed to be free according to the Norwegian 50 years rule since creation of a regular photograph. If the photographers are positively identified, alive for the last 15 years or any heirs claim that the images are work of art the status of the photographs may be reevaluated. (Source of some of the images are Enno Eimers. In 1981 he lived in East Germany and died in 1983. Source of others are Otto Lanzinger. He was killed during the campaign in Norway.)
