Description: Dr. Carol Greider (born April 15, 1961) is currently a molecular biologist at the Johns Hopkins University. She was awarded the 2009 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine, along with Elizabeth Blackburn and Jack W. Szostak for their discovery that telomeres are protected from progressive shortening by the enzyme telomerase. Modified to reduce the vignetting in the corners
