Descripción: This flag was likely adopted in 2014 following the city's bicentennial anniversary. This flag utilizes the current seal of the city in its design, and going through the Internet Archive, the official website of the city shows that the old seal was replaced with a bicentennial logo in 2012, and in 2014, this logo was then replaced by the current seal which is still in use on the website.[1] Under New Albany law, there is another flag that was previously adopted. It is not known if this flag replaced that flag, or if this flag is meant to be the government flag while the other flag is the city flag.
