Description: The Eastport Elementary School along Montauk Highway on the Town of Southampton side of Eastport, New York. There has always been something about schools along Montauk Highway east of what is today the "Oakdale Merge" that has given me a sense that they just truly belong there, although I can't put my finger on what it gives me that feeling. And the further out east you go, the stronger that feeling gets for me.
