Description: Overview over the lower part of Fox Glacier with the glacier mouth visible on the right hand side. A bit further left is the area where in 2013 tourists could take glacier walks in guided tours. The clearly visible limit of vegetation on the right (southern) slope marks the temporary maximum height of the glacier around 2009, only four years earlier!
