Descripción: Image of Jupiter's irregular moon Dia (S/2000 J 11), taken by David Jewitt using the 3.6-meter Canada-France-Hawaii Telescope (CFHT) on 9 December 2001. Dia is very faint in this image, with an apparent magnitude of 23.1. Dia was only observed once in 2001, and has subsequently lost until its rediscovery in 2011. For comparison, the star field in these images can be viewed at the CDS's Aladin star atlas.
