Descripción: 500px provided description: The Denver Art Museum (DAM) Hamilton building was designed by architect Daniel Libeskind and constructed in 2006. Libeskind cites the geometry of the Rocky Mountains and crystals found there as inspirations for the design. It is a striking piece of architecture. The Hamilton building consists 20 sloping planes; none of the planes are parallel or perpendicular to one another. The building is covered in 230,000 square feet of titanium panels. This photo was taken from an outdoor patio on the second floor of the North Building in the DAM complex. This photo is stitched together from multiple frames.
