Description: Left to right Cudahy Tower 925 E. Wells St. Built: 1909 Meat packer and philanthropist Patrick Cudahy built the south portion of the building as apartments in 1909. His sons added the taller northern half in 1929. The buildings are made of white marble, glazed brick and terra cotta. The original portion was called "Buena Vista Flats," and was designed by Ferry & Clas. The sons' portion was designed by Holabird & Root of Chicago. University Club Tower 825 N. Prospect Avenue Built: 2007 This 36-story condo tower was designed by the Chicago office of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill architects. It was the tallest residential building in Wisconsin when it was built. The building to the right is the Kilbourn Tower.
