Descripción: Canadian First Nations girl with modern Pow Wow costume true to the traditions, who has integrated "Hello Kitty" earrings. "Hello Kitty" is a fictional character and a brand, produced by the Japanese company Sanrio. First Nations people of nowadays, they have adapted themselves with contemporary materials, modern fabrics as well as contemporary design - without denying their Indian roots. Those roots you can see on this photo with Indian ornamental perls-hat with feather on the girls head, her headband made out of glass-pearls, her delicate make-up beside the eyes, the small round earring-clips and the leather strap with coloured glass pearls, falling down her costume. Even the hair-dress with centre parting and the two braids is a very typical Indian style.The Pow Wow was held 2014 in the Indian reservation of Wendake in Québec, Canada.
