Archivo: Artemisia cana subsp. viscidula (5453575173)
Descripción: The short stature (less than 1 m tall), linear leaves most often with a single tip and that measure only a few cm in length, and a habitat in a low setting where moisture accumulates is suggestive of Artemisia cana subsp. viscidula (a form of silver sagebrush common to the west of the continental divide). Artemisia cana and all of its forms are deciduous, which is noticeable even this time of year by the leaves that are changing color.
