This interesting small apartment house is a freshclean solution to the apartment dwelling on asmall, rather difficult lot. Each apartment is pro- vided with either a generous deck or garden space,which has been regarded by the designer as anessential requirement. This outdoor feature of liv-ing and building is something about which thereis much talk, but too little done. While the architecture is recognizable as thefamous Neutra idiom, rigid intellectual design hasbeen transformed with an ever increasing humanquality. Glass walls are still conspicuously in evi-dence, but are balanced by the substantial charac-ter of interior walls.
