Descripción: When you walk across the street by the Büyük Apartman (Grand Building) at the Anafartalar Boulevard, you come across with the building of Ankara Municipality by architect Nezih Eldem, which was completed in 1949. One side of the building faces the Alsancak Street. The Toygar Office Building stands at the other side of the street. It is next to the Köklü Office Building which hosts various workplaces. The photograph was taken in late 1950s in front of the Köklü Office Building. The signboards tell us who had offices in the building back then.
