Descripción: "If wishes were horses beggars would ride," was a favorite nursery adage when the Misses Adeline and Augusta Van Buren, of New York, were at the hobby-horse age. But when they grew up there was nothing that wore ears that was fast enough for them. So they turned to motorcycles. They rode from New York to San Francisco last summer, starting on July 4 and arriving September 2—the first women motorcyclists to make the trip.
