The new Fiat Scudo is the latest sibling of the Citroën Jumpy/SpaceTourer, Peugeot Expert/Traveller, Opel Vivaro/Zafira and Toyota ProAce. That makes Fiat the fifth brand to sell the delivery van under its own brand. A passenger version will be launched too under the Ulysse name. The name Scudo (and Ulysse) marks a return for the brand: earlier vans and MPVs were based on Peugeot-Citroën platforms and technology as well. In 2016, the Fiat Talento, a van based on the Renault Trafic, replaced the Scudo. Just as Opel replaced the Renault Trafic-derived Vivaro with a model with technology from the French after PSA's acquisition of Opel, Fiat followed a similar plan after PSA and FCA joined forces to form Stellantis.
